So, I went looking for the best lawyer I could find. Was ready to spend a boatload on one of these high priced Chattanooga attorneys like my ex wife had. I talked to three of the big guys, and was about to write a check. I had consulted with Alan in the past and figured I would just give him a call on a hunch. Within five minutes I knew this was my guy. Alan went against who was "supposed" to be the best attorney in this city and outclassed and out performed him in every way shape and form. It got to the point I felt bad for my ex. Alan's humor, candor, and professionalism made one of the toughest things I have ever gone through bearable. Alex, and David on his staff were always prompt, courteous, and friendly. I honestly at times felt like I was his only client despite him carrying many. This is how a client/attorney relationship should work. His rates are reasonable and he always worked with me and kept me up to speed on where my account was. My case was put off 3 times by him and all he wanted was more money every time and he rescheduled it, even though it was his doing.... If you want someone to give all your money too, he's your guy....I know for fact that what he's all about.... Still paying on a loan I had to get for my divorce. He drug mine out over a year which was a living hell....
I honestly could have let the judge do mine and I would have came out better.... He gave everything I had away laughed at me after and said, you agreed to it... All I know is Karma will one day catch up to him...

Hiring Alan for my child custody/parenting plan modification has been the best decision in my case. I had hired another attorney, but she failed to meet my expectations and was too soft with case and lacked the experience in this field of child custody/family law all while spending a waste of time and money for nothing. Once I decided to look for another legal representation, I found Alan. Upon our first meeting he displayed genuine concern, was already developing a game plan of what he could do WITH ONLY 1 MONTH BEFORE COURT! The time frame Alan had to prepare was so minimal, other attorneys would have demonstrated incompetence and unfamiliarity with my case. Alan not only understood my case, he corrected my previous attorney's failure to represent me well and won me my case. I talked to Alan beard on the phone today and he turned me down due to him being scared to face palmer in a divorce case. He did recomend another lawyer which was nice of him but as a father I find it cowardly not a very convincing lawyer with a back bone but at least honest I guess and he did wish me luck.

We had a horrible attorney before. It was a saturday night and my wife and I we losing our custody battle when we came across Mr. Beards number.
