My legal assistant Tara was awesome. She was very thorough patient and kind. Stephanie, the receptionist was as sweet as she could be and Mr. Sexton was great. Nasty people! I don’t see how they lay their heads down at night! Very unprofessional and Tara is a nasty nasty human being with her smart mouth! I called and left several messages she wouldn’t even return my call. I never spoke or heard from them my whole
Case expect 2 times in 8 months! She laughed at me as I tried to get an explanation of what it was that they exactly did! NOTHING!! I was DX with MS in Feb. these people take advantage of people and take their money!! Highly do NOT recommend them FIND SOMEONE THAT IS HONEST AND ACTUALLY CARES.

Mr. Sexton filed for social security disability in my behalf. The day before we were scheduled to appear before a judge, he advised me to withdraw my case. I couldn't get a straight answer as to why. He also dropped me as his client without telling me he had done so. I found that out from the Social Security office. Would not return my phone calls or emails. No wonder so many people claim to hate lawyers. This wouldn't let me post with zero stars.

Mr. Sexton was very professional. I was kept up to date with my case as new information was obtained, as i was applying for Social Security Disability. I was turned down twice and had to attend a hearing on August 13, 2018. Mr. Sexton discussed my case with me and the hearing procedure. If I had tried to handle my case without representation, I don't think I would have been approved. I am very grateful to Sexton Law Firm.

I can only do my review on what I witnessed in the office. I went to them to file for my social security. I am disabled. I did all the paperwork online with the help of a nice guy. I never had a change to talk to anyone else in the firm because I didn't stick around long and here is why. I stopped by their office a couple of weeks ago to ask to speak to the lady that is working on my case. I should have called to schedule an appointment because she was not there that day That was my faut. HOwever what I can't seem to understand is why no one else asked if they could help me. There were plently of women gathered around talking It took a good 10 minutes to get the receptionist to even acknowledge me because she was on the phone giving someone directions. But to the ladies standing in the office behind her chatting and made eye contact with me mulitple times did not get up to ask if they could help me. Talking about baby formula and showing off phone videos of some gal singing.. get real. I moved on. chose another firm. good riddance.

First, I'd like to say how happy I was with The Sexton Law Firm, especially "that Tara woman" I'm essentially responding the the review before mine, Jasmine? You are rude and disrespectful. That is clear from the beginning of your review. I know a little bit about the social security system and how it as works as I went through it with Tara and Mr. Sexton. They were by my side the entire time and in fact, Tara knows the names of my kids and wife because she cared to listen. So, it could be that you were rude. When you get a hearing scheduled and you don't have representation, they cannot change/postpone your hearing date. Hello...HIPAA laws! Seems like it was up to YOU to get that figured out. Word of advice..shoulda gotten a lawyer a head of time and this wouldn't have happened. Blame yourself. But instead of helping yourself, you decide to leave a review that makes you look ridiculous.
Let me say this again, I give them5 STARS, wish I could give them more. I have sent many clients their way and all have been very happy with their firm. Tara rocks!

If I can give these people a 0 I sure would. Very poor communication skills. Never answers messages nor call anyone back. That Tara woman is very rude from the very start with me. She basically blew me off got told today that the reason why they haven't called me nor the disability office is because they're not representing me at this time and that I have to call the disability office myself and changed the date and maybe at that time they'll take my case after telling me they were going to take my case.
MY PROBLEM IS THEY KNEW FROM THE VERY START THAT MY TIME WAS LIMITED. I ALREADY ONCE SEE THE JUDGE BUT LOST PAPER ON THEIR END GOT IT POSTPONED. I EXPLAIN THAT TO CHAD BEFORE ANYTHING AND HE WAS LIKE I GUESS WE NEED TO GET TO WORK. HE WAS ON TOP OF EVERYTHING. THEN THE MEETING WITH TARA HAPPENED AND EVERYTHING WENT DOWN HILLS FROM THERE. This been going on for over a month now. My court date is next month and now I have no time to find another law to fight for me cause this office screwed me over with their poor communication. If they didn't want to take my case they should've told me from the start.

I hired The Sexton law firm to handle my disability case, David was a very nice friendly guy, the first leagalmaid I had was a great gal. Unfortunately over the 5 years they dealt with my case I had multiple paralegals and that was a huge problem. They kept losing files and medical records. The last one to have anything to do with me was Melissa, this has to be the rudest, laziest woman, I have ever met. She is completely incompetent in her work, she has absolutely no reading comprehension skills, and dose not listen to anything the client has to say. I know for a fact that I am not the only client to fore this firm due to Melissa! Only giving 2 stars because part of the staff are great people.

Did an outstanding job fighting the headless, responsibility-less monster that SSA has become. Getting my SSDI relieved what was becoming an unlivable financial situation.

Worst Lawyers I have ever seen in my life. I was turned down three times for disability, so I decided to seek legal advice. This was a terrible mistake. I never even met my lawyer until the day of the hearing. I was the one that done all of the leg work, this guy was paid for not doing one thing. The judge needed paperwork where I had been getting my medicine, these people the lawyers and the staff did not have a clue. I ended up getting the Judge's fax number and faxing over the right material. I won my case by myself. These guys were paid for doing nothing. Take some advice seek people that know what they are doing. This may come up under my sister's name but my name is Amy Hester. I might not remember it considering they did nothing.
