one of the rudest staff i've ever encountered. they have a person that screens emails and only gives King Swisher the ones THEY deem responsible and overlook things like Dr notes, continuation requests, etc. The lady who answers the phone is very short and is quick to get flustered and just hang up on you. Mr Swisher hasn't taken a meeting since 1963? did you know he won't let you speak about your case on the phone, by email or any other medium. if you want to speak to him in-person...which is the only way he will speak to you. (maybe scared of wire taps? hmmm) he's clearly crooked and will make you wait three hours rather than just be a reasonable person. his staff is a direct reflection of him. i had to switch lawyers mid case because of their incompetence and disregard for bare minimum customer service. please retire.

Im going to say 4 just becuase customer service is great most of the time( secretary I guess) Mr.Swisher, awsome guy. If you want the job done right and fast, this is the place. Everytime I get a ticket I call them. I think the prices are a little too high but I would rather pay a little more then to pay a cheap attorney that you have to practically call every day to get an update. This fellow will fix the problem and not only will they call you, but send you a letter w/ receipt to keep you updated.

Best Attorney I ever had, since I started getting speeding tickets, while 19. Mr. Swisher saved my licences, by my taking classes at the HWY Patrol office, on east market. I learned, not to speed anymore. Valuable lesson learned.

One of the best lawyers in Guilford County, and will even provide tips for other lawyers in other counties to work with. Swishers prices are high, BUT I would rather pay 350$ to remove something that could cost you hundreds of dollars, and potentially a job. Thanks Swisher!

WORST experience I've ever had with a lawyer he is downright crooked.

I hired him to represent me for some criminal charges, the price agreed upon was $500. Which was paid in 2 payments in the span of a month or so.

HE NEVER SHOWED UP TO MY COURT DATE, HE NEVER DID ANYTHING FOR ME.

Thank god for my public defender or I would have been forced to represent myself (after paying for a lawyer).

THEN TO TOP IT OFF,

I called James Swisher after my court date to complain about my experience.

He told me basically that he did help me out in my case, and that I actually owe him $500 more!!! (This is a diversion tactic lawyers are known to use)

No bill ever came, because he MADE THAT UP to SILENCE ME on how he scammed me out of my money. Would never recommend.

I recently signed a lease for an apartment at Sterling Cottages. When I got to the leasing office they told me that I wouldn't need a cosigner or a security deposit to put down and if I signed my lease that day they would move me in. Two weeks later they said I'd have to pay a $1200+ security deposit and first month's rent in August. I don't have that type of money so they're going to take me to court.
