I had a very complicated case regarding guardianship of a minor child and was represented by Mr. Eric Meehan. I consulted with 4 different lawyers before deciding to hire him and I could not be more pleased with our outcome. Unlike the other lawyers I had consulted with, he took the time to thoroughly review all the documents I brought with me for the initial consultation. He took his time, asked intelligent and insightful questions, and seemed invested in learning all of the facts before agreeing to represent me. Mr. Meehan and his legal assistant, Niecy, were so very kind and compassionate. They both genuinely cared and it was evident. They were both very accessible and all phone calls or emails were returned quickly. Our day in court is where Mr. Meehan really shined. He was prepared, precise, and the consummate professional. Not only did he have all documents for our side of the case, he provided documents for the opposing side when that lawyer was unprepared! As a result of his skills, we retained guardianship of the child and this beautiful little girl has a bright future ahead of her. We could not be more grateful or pleased with the way we were represented and the outcome of our case.

Absolute waste of time and money

Gene Britt in the Fayetteville office was tremendous. He agreed to represent me on a traffic citation. Then Hurricane Florence hit Fayettville and yet he kept his eye on my case and got a continuance. Then he resolved the case to my complete satisfaction. I’m so grateful and highly recommend him particularly if you are out of state like me.

Horrible experience!!!!! My mom hired an attorney end of July, and we have not heard of any update, and keep having to call just to get a live person. Paid fees upfront and told it would be taken care of in 30 days. Well a little over 60 days later, I'm still having to help my mom to track down Kylie, Kaylee, whatever her name is. The paralegal keeps blocking our attempts it seems, the only thing she's done is tell us how the lawyer is not available and works between two offices, etc. Havent heard a word from the lawyer since 1st week of August. I keep getting blocked from communication with with the lawyer, and the paralegal acts as though she could care less about my mom's case, and how its preventing her from moving on in her life. No update can be or has been provided. So disgusted by the level of integrity. There may be other lawyers in the firm that are reliable, but not the paralegal/lawyer my mom has for her case. If there is not an update soon, the state bar will be contacted.

I initially set appointments on 8/12/2019 with two different attorneys in the area. I was so happy that I decided to wait until I met with my last appointment that day to decide! I knew immediately that Gene Britt is who I wanted to represent me. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, direct and prepared. I brought my parents along with me and we all left feeling good inside. Although, the case was dropped before the court date for this particular portion of my case, I have still decided to use Mr. Britt for the next step in of this process. Whatever you do in your situation, never hire this firm. It's a huge money sink. Eric Meehan is the worst lawyer in the county, in my situation he was physically shaking in court and didn't even know of the other lawyer's filings. Even the judge got annoyed that he was on his tablet/pc when she was asking him questions.

Gene Britt is a disgusting, dirty "I have to go play Golf", and "that's now how we practice law in this county" type lawyer. He doesn't wear socks, I wish I could rate his feet as Cheddar but the stench is 121 year old Gruyere, smell is atrocious. I rate it about as much as his ability to practice law.

I have been with this office for over a decade. I have had experience with Agner and Strickland in the past. Now recently Mr. Pittman as well. When I say this office has the the skills to blow your mind and settle your court case, its an understatement. And I mean just that!! When your going through court proceedings its scary and lots of times confusing. Throughout the years Ive always had success with this office's knowledge of the law and legal procedures and it has always made me feel so comfortable, like they have everything taken care of before it even starts. Which is why I always choose them for any if not all legal help I need. I cant type it loud enough!!!. They have always been more than caring and passionate about making sure things get done and that you are satisfied with all actions before going forward. Their perseverance is outsanding. I would recommend Strickland, Agner and Pittman to any and all!! Thank you guys so much for being there and being consistent with making me feel safe and secure when I need legal support.

I had a DUI charge back in 2016. A different attorney was initially taking care of this issue and then got into some trouble and left me with a pending case. John Agner picked up the slack and handled the case effectively. My case was won at district court by Mr. Agner but the DA decided to appeal. A few months later she decides to dismiss the case being that she had an uphill battle against Mr. Agner. I could not be more pleased with the great service he’s provided!

I'd give a negative star if I could to Mr Gene Britt. Nothing but fees and money wasted. Very disinterested in my case. Was texting during my first meeting with him. Didn't inform me of crucial info regarding my case. I dont recommend him at all!!!!

Typical law practices

They do nothing but drag ass and give you the run around. You pay them in full and then they turn around and slam some more fines on you. I would NOT recommend them to anyone for anything. I wouldn't hire them to clip my toenails!

This is a very busy office and can be hard to talk to someone at times, but it is that way for a reason. Billy Strickland is the most down-to-earth, honest attorney I have ever met. He acts like he really cares about his clients, and he proves it in the way he fights on their behalf. I've been so impressed with his work dealing with a car accident, that I am convinced to take work to him that I could probably handle on my own. He is trustworthy when you think no other attorney can be.
Agner is also a good attorney. He handles traffic tickets quickly and painlessly.

I am so thankful for Strickland, Agner & Associates and attorney John Agner! I had a court date scheduled for Friday I called their office the Thursday before at 1 PM, I procrastinated. Their office was able to assist me in getting my traffic case dismissed at a very affordable price. I highly recommend them!
