Great law firm

I'm a real estate investor in eastern North Carolina. I was referred to Atty Justin Taylor by another investor; since I was closing on a deal in a new area. My transaction closed on 2/14/2019. Atty Taylor and Ms. Ann Weaver did a great job staying in communication with me; they closed my transaction quickly and provided top notch service.

Very good real estate closing attorney

The closing on my house was on June 28th and, when I received my HUD, I noticed that I had been charged a $50 mortgage cancellation fee. I never had a mortgage on my house. Both my realtor and I have made phone calls and initially was told that Ann was working on it. It has been over 2 weeks and Ann has not returned my phone calls asking her to call me and let me know if she has mailed my check. I have even asked Lori, who answers the phone, to ask Ann if she has mailed my check and please call me back. Still waiting for a reply. What is my next step? I live 3 1/2 hours away. Not like I can drive across town to personally obtain the money I am owed. I am very frustrated and angry. This behavior displays poor customer relations.

Wayne, Justin and the entire staff have always maintained an absolute level of professionalism while promoting a relaxed atmosphere. I have never had a bad closing. This group will do whatever they can to get it done.

As a Real Estate Broker I encounter many attorneys in the Triangle area and never hesitate to recommend Wayne to my clients. I also use him as my personal real estate attorney and have closed many times with him in the last 16 years! Very reliable and knowledgeable staff.

The Closing attorney was awful and very rude answering questions. My client was very upset and asked me in the future not to use them. Usually closing attorneys are very polite and offer a great customer service, not in this case.

Ann Weaver is the worst person to work with at this firm. Everytime I spoke to her, she had an attitude and was very short with me saying she was busy. When I went to go see her because of her unwillingness to discuss matters with me over the phone, she still acted like she didn't want to help me. She is by far the worst paralegal I have ever dealt with!
