While no one hopes to find themselves in a custody case, Mr. Joe Peterson can guide you through the process. He handled my custody case and did an amazing job. He kept us updated every step of the way. If we had any questions, he answered them for us to easily understand. He genuinely cared about our case. Castle Law Firm's prices were very reasonable. I would absolutely recommend this firm and Mr. Peterson for any legal issues that you may be facing.

I strongly do not recommend. One of his attorneys did nothing for my custody case or even tried to help me or my child out on our custody case at all, after I hired him and paid him thousands of dollars. Waste of my money and time. Do not waste your time. If you really want what’s best for your child/children’s best interest think more than twice before doing an consultation or worse hiring anyone from this law firm! Oh and they won’t even give you your money back and they suck at communicating with you! They’re only about a dollar and not at all what’s best for your child’s/children’s best interest. Dont shop around dont ask friends for who they have hired in the past just go to The Castle Law Firm and talk to the amazing front desk and as soon as you do they take all your stress and worrying away. I have had the pleasure of having Joseph F. Peterson assist me and it was flawless. This law firm is professional, honest, loyal and willing to do anything so your rights are not infringed. This has been the the only attorney I have ever used and with good reason he is helpful and his assistants were as great as him. They always answer my questions in a timely manner and kept me up to date on all accounts from start to finish.

Mr. Castle is a phenominal lawyer to have on your side. He helped me greatly in navigating a highly contensted divorce with a favourable financial outcome for me, while I was in Iraq and Japan. I worked with Mr. Castle for over a year before actually meeting him in person, and the entire time he treated me like family. Even though I was thousands of miles away, with a 14 hour time zone difference, Mr. Castle kept me feeling like I had a legitimate part in my divorce proceedings and that I was his top priority everytime we spoke.

From November 2017- February 2020 Mr. Castle was my divorce lawyer. It was a tough battle but throughout that time Mr. Castle worked tirelessly to help me achieve a great outcome. Stay away. Worst law firm there is, Johnathon Naylor being far beyond the worst attorney. He shows no care in his clients. He is a money business man and not there to listen or help. I do not recommend. All I can say is don't waste your money and if court appointed ask for another, and fast!!!

Mr.Castle represented me in my divorce and child custody proceedings. I'm happy to say things went in my favor thanks to Mr. Castle and all the hard work he and his staff did. He showed true concern in caring for myself and my children and only wanted what was best for them.

Do not use this firm. Mr. Castle is unethical, dishonest, disrespectful and deceitful. He has failed to inform clients of crucial conflicts material to their cases; and he has failed quickly withdraw from cases when required. He has the worst communication skills I have ever seen from a lawyer: doesn’t call clients; doesn’t keep clients informed about their cases; and becomes rude and extremely hostile when confronted about his many shortcomings as a lawyer. Get a lawyer from outside of the county!!! Do not go here.

Recently our family went through the trauma of our 14 year old being assaulted by a 16 year old in which we needed a no contact order for her protection. Paul Castle was honest with us from the start not just a lawyer out to get our money. He told us it would be a fight but that we had a strong case and that he would fight every step of the way with us. He was amazing when he went over both his questioning and the possible aggressive questioning from the opposing counsel so that our innocent child fully knew as well as ourselves what would be ahead of us. Paul Castle countless times throughout the process and proceedings would stop to tell our daughter that he was truly sorry she had and was having to go through this. To say that a lawyer only works a 9 to 5 day would be an incorrect assessment of Mr. Castle as he meet with us both after 5 and over the weekend to ensure everything was ready for court. I highly recommend if you are unfortunately ever in need of a lawyer that you talk with Paul Castle, not just because he won our case, but because he is a good Christian man who will work hard for you while being open and honest about your case.

THE BEST!! I can't say enough good things about this group of professionals. I know some will read this glowing review and think it to be a shill or fake review, but I dont care. I wont give this review any less than Mr Castle gave me in court.

I consulted with several attorneys before choosing The Castle Law firm. Mr. Castle was the only one that was willing to do the extra work and go the extra mile to get all the charges before I turned myself in. So I knew what I was facing before hand, to properly be prepared. That set the tone for the kind of service I received through out the entire case. Because of his effort he got me bail so cheap I could pay the bond without even going to the atm, then he got me a really great deal from the ADA. But I was dead set on clearing my name so we went to trial. The staff was always helpful keeping me updated and were easy to deal with.

When the trial started I was able to see why Castle is known as the best damn trial lawyer in 3 county's. He stayed cool under pressure when the pretrial motions started. All the while I'm losing faith in the justice system with every motion the judge gives the prosecution. And the jury selection didnt make it look any better. By the time the ADA was done presenting the first witness I felt beaten. But not Castle. He reminded me, in not so many words, that it's not the luck of the draw the matters it's the way you play your cards, that count.

Once the state rested their case, Mr Castle began to slowly present his facts. Strategically shining a light on the holes in their case. With every question he asked you started to see a whole new picture coming to light. It was not long after that, I felt the tide begin to turn in our favor. As the fact pattern developed you could see he was in total control of everyone's attention in that court room, it was like a general leading the army to battle. The closing argument brought the different pieces together the way a conductor brings together the instruments of an orchestra. He gave the jury a chance to see and hear past the smoke and mirrors presented by a prosecutor that seemed to care more about winning than he cared about truth... the only thing I remember after that is hearing the judge reading the jury verdict "Not Guilty!"

Mr. Castle was very professional, confident, and knowledgeable in my case. I felt very comfortable speaking with him about my situation. Following Mr. Castle's advice and direction I could not of asked for a better outcome.

I am not from the area so receiving a ticket after only being here for a couple months was overwhelming. After reviewing the ticket and reading up on NC laws I felt my best course of action was to invest in an attorney.
Due to not being from the area I was then tasked with trying to decide on a firm to represent me in court. Castle Law Firm had some of the best reviews and I now know why.
Upon calling I informed the representative of my situation. She answered my questions thoroughly and presented a solution which took a huge weight off my shoulders.

Over a year ago I had Them handle a court case for traffic and they did. Then they handled a case with my ex for domestic violence turned around and said they couldn’t handle another traffic case because it’s a conflict of interest. This contradicts itself because I was the first one to ever hire their services so they should’ve told my ex it was a conflict of interest. I will be looking into this as it Is very suspicious and the female that I talk to at the front desk knew me by name and hung up on me.

Poor Attorney paid cash but he was always a step behind!

I am currently a third-year law student at a nationally ranked top-70 law school. I retained Mr. Castle to handle my child custody, child support, and marital asset division issues. We just had resolution of the child custody case, which was rather complex due to legal and alcohol issues. Mr. Castle is a very ethical attorney and has a solid grasp on how family law is applied in North Carolina. He expertly develops legal strategy with the client and is adept at grasping the nuances of how a particular issue will affect the application of law to your fact pattern.

Mr. Castle presents a bit unconventionally, and sometimes appears as if he isn't paying attention, but he is. His firm has always communicated well with me, even as an out-of-state client. He won't tell you what you want to hear simply to make you feel good, but he will give you an honest assessment of your case. I will say this much: he got way better results on my child custody case than I was expecting, and I was impressed at how he developed the case through the hearing. I highly recommend the Castle Law Firm for family law based on my personal experience.

Time will tell, for now I'm pleased with his services.

Laid back atmosphere with attorneys with great knowledge

Excellent negotiator. Sees to the heart of a story to know how to create both an offense and defense. Willing to play hard ball as needed. Would definitely hire again (although I hope I don't have to).

The Castle Law Firm is a great example of what a Law Firm is supposed to be, my personal experiences with them have been phenomenal! They are caring and on top of all questions and concerns I had. Me and my former spouse are living in two different states at the time and they were able to get everything done in a wonderfully quick manner and were constantly checking into, if the paperwork had been served and what timeline we were on. I highly, highly suggest them for any legal matters you or your family need completed. Very personal and caring individuals they will always be my first choice if I need anything in the future handled.

Never had a contract written with Castle, he didn't fight for what I wanted or tried understanding my circumstances. He then withdrew from the case due to lack of pay but the work done was not worth the money he was asking or what he ever did on my case. Wouldn't return emails or my calls for days, or once wasn't until the day of my hearing.

I have used Mr. castle as my attorney for numerous cases including child custody. His firm has always made me feel welcome and comfortable. I have referred more than a dozen of friends to him. If you interested in obtaining a lawyer that has transparency and offer complete respect, the Castle Law Firm is the place.
