Again thank you both for your great help.
Will
She deliberately misrepresented herself. She asked the value of my mothers estate, and many other questions that I would never answered had I not been led to believe I was talking to an attorney.
It was truly creepy and I am filing a complaint w the California Bar.
I called FOUR TIMES !! Elizabeth who after asking asking questions finally identfied herself and said, "I work very closely with my husband". I guess my mothers estate was tasty enough. Elizabeth doesn't let you know she is not the attorney until she has enough information to make her judge it worth her time.
NEVER GOT THROUGH TO AN ATTORNEY.
I felt I was misled.
The fourth call to Mr. Talbots office was to confirm my next day appointment ( made with Elizabeth his wife) and it was answered by "Sara", (secty) who had no appointment scheduled nor any record of my earlier attempts to contact the Mr. Talbo
Really? Think twice.
MAYBE I will keep looking. . .
We are looking to retain him to review all of our trusts and to help us resolve a potential conflict with estranged relatives. Thank you very much for helping our family.
Matt wrote our estate plan which includes a revocable trust, our wills, power of attorney and advanced health care directive. He know his stuff. We actually read the documents and had a bunch of questions that Matt spent time answering. Now, I wanted simple documents, but guess that is not the best thing. We are thinking of our heirs and how to make inheriting simple for them. That means the Trust needs to be complete and have many clauses in case there is a certain problem. If the trust spells out what to do, then in the long away future after we pass away, our children will have an easy time with the inheritance process.
