This happened 10 years ago:

So I get in trouble for masquerading as a cop and wearing a mask in public due to my mental illness.
David fails to get me off and instead sticks me with a felony, wearing a mask in public.
Fast forward two years I developed a drug problem . My mom calls David Whaley he refuses to take my case. He recommends I go with public attorney, he said two years behind bars. I hire a different attorney he is able to get me off with time served.
I've been sober for 8 years thanks to that attorney, not David Whaley.

The reason it took me 10 years to write this post is because I was still a kid at the time. I'm grown now and if you are looking to hire an attorney DON'T hire David Whaley! He may seem like a "Nice guy" but trust me he isnt

He is seriously so hard to get a hold of. In court he will tell you to call him any time if you have any questions or stop by his office but when you call, you're not going to reach him. If you leave a message, it is not likely to be returned. Out of all the times I called him, he called me back ONE time. Then he says to stop by the office but then doesn't spend much time with you there. My husband spent the majority of his time awaiting his court case having no idea what was going to happen. He never got to fully explain his details of his case because Mr. Whaley would say "don't worry about that." I don't know if he is overloaded with cases and just didn't have the time to really work through my husband's case or what but i was disappointed in his performance because i heard he was the best in town. Every time my husband spoke to him it was like he didn't remember any details of his case. My husband has court in March surrounding the same case and I'd rather stick with the public defender than shell out more money to just get ignored and forgotten. 3 stars is being generous and I'm only giving that because he does seem like a nice guy but choose someone who is actually interested in your case.

Mr David is the best criminal lawyer which he proved in only 1st court date and dismissed the case . I met to more then 10 lawyers but not any single lawyer gave any guarantee but mr David was very confident to prove not guilty in the court which he did. I highly recommend him . I found plus point is he is honest , very reasonable in fees , ready to meet any time any day including Sunday, very hard working person. I have found only mr David who told me he can dismissed the case without appearance of the person in the court which no any single lawyer agreed which is amazing . I was having only one hope that hope given by mr David . I really blessing him and his family from my heart
