Did not properly represent me and lied to keep case...only out for money.

I’ve never recieved such poor service from an entity that claims to represent clients. I’ve struggled physically, emotionally, and financially over the past year trying to file a divorce. I chose this law firm based off the reviews. I met with Englisby to assist with this process. The proceedings were not finalized as i was unable to keep up with my financial obligation. I recieved a warrant in debt notice in which i contacted the office to work it out. I was assured by Mr. Englisby once the monies were paid the divorce would be completed. I struggled to meet my obligation and made my last payment this week. I called the office and Mr. Englisby was very rude and condescending. He stated his rate went up and we would need to start the process all over again. Even though the money was paid in full for the services, Mr. Englisby office has now blocked all communication from me. I literally called the office and when asked who is speaking, i gave my name and the secretary hung up in my face. I tried to call back and my number is blocked. Not only am i out of money i worked hard to obtain, i am also not divorced. My next plan of action is to contact the bar association. Please consider this review when choosing to do buisness with this lawyer

Terrible terrible. Pretty much just took our money had our case handed right to him and literally got nowhere would have been better off representing myself (Engilsby)
