I cannot say enough about Holcomb Law. They worked my custody to help me get full physical custody. I also should mention the fact that I live in Hawaii and the case had to be filed and completed in Virginia. I was very nervous and concern about how it could be done over that long distance. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. The communications from the guardian ad lidem, para legal and my lawyer was phenomenal. My case was very unusual because of distance and the age of my sons but they did not hesitate to take command of the case and go forward. I was very good about giving all information they requested to help them go forward and, again, their constant communication to keep me up to date on how it was progressing helped keep me calm and confident. Cases like this are always stressful and so long as you understand that things like this take time you will never be disappointed. When I first went to this firm, I was excited and I felt like my case (a divorce) would be handled efficiently. After a few weeks I decided to check on the case to find out nothing had been done. As it turns out, the lawyer I had decided to open her own firm and let my case fall between the cracks. I then came in and found that my case was bring turned over to Mr. Holcomb. Again, I felt like something would get done quickly. As it turns out, I had to consistently call and ask for what was next, get updates, ask why things hasn't been done, ask for things to get done before getting done. Yes, my case was finalized, but the process with the firm was horrendous. Also, for checking up on your case, you get charged every time. But I would probably still be married if I didn't check up and ask for things to get done.

Wayne Holcomb was very rude to me and actually yelled at me in response to an email when I challenged his work on the case. This "good ole boy" and my husband rolled their eyes at me when I tearfully tried to talk. I did most of the research at the direction of his colleague. He relied on experience of the GAL and had no prior experience dealing with a juvenile sex offender case. This led us down a uncertain path for almost a year which has caused further emotional distress to our family and the victims! He also "represented" (term loosely used) me in another matter three years ago which had a very disappointing outcome. I would never hire him again!

I hired Holcomb law to help a child that was falsely accused of a crime. I was very scared for him, as the charges were quite serious. Holcomb law saw me with in two hours of my call. They treated me and the young man with such respect.

The very first thing I realized, was that they are a Christian Law Firm. And that should be important to you because you do not want a cutthroat lawyer who has no integrity. That same lawyer does not have your best interest at heart. Their only interest is money. When money is their only motivator, I guarantee you, you will be providing them an endless bucket of cash for their services. Holcomb Law is definitively not that kind of lawyer.

A couple of things that you might be interested in. First, the child was arrested and could have had to stay in jail until the trial... That lasted 9 months! Holcomb Law sent three attorneys to get him out.

The Assistant Commonwealth Attorney painted a portrait of this child that had no record, was a good student, and had never been in trouble, as a dangerous menace to society! He wanted him held without bail. Holcomb convinced the judge he was not. The Assistant CA appealed, and so he had to sit in jail for a week until the bail case was heard. The REAL CA, agreed with Holcomb and he was released on bail with a 9 pm curfew at his parents house. I can't imagine the damage that could have been done to his mind had Holcomb not gotten him out on bail.

Ultimately, we won the case. I honestly believe if he had not hired the Holcomb Law Firm, he would still be in jail. They were great communicators through out the case and provided resources every step of the way. Fantastic team... Honest, strong integrity, hard working, and professional!

Absolutely worthless!!! I went with Leslie Williams as my attorney and what a waste of time and money. Literally had her for a little over a month before I fired her. I spent close to $2,200 on phone conferences and email exchanges. Not a single thing was done about my divorce or custody. I switched to a different lawfirm and within a day papers were typed up and submitted to the court and within 2 days papers were typed up about custody and my husband and I worked out through our lawyers a new custody plan- something Leslie didn't even attempt to do. It took my new lawyer 2 days to accomplish what Leslie couldn't do in over a month. I have all my invoices and literally spent close to $2,200 on emails and phone calls. Go with someone else, not this lawfirm!!

He is a nice man if you can actually get ahold of him. But unfortunately his staff makes it incredibly difficult. Either messages don't go through or he just doesn't have time to respond I don't know but it's next to impossible to get him on the phone.

I got a speeding ticket in Virginia. I live in Maryland. Because it was for 65 in a 45 I was looking at a 2,500 fine, 1 year in jail, 6 months suspended license, 6 points on my record, which would then raise my insurance for 11 years. We walked into court and Mr. Holcomb showed the trooper and the judge a few items, asked me to speak and we walked out, with no fines. Had I been crazy enough to go to court without him, I KNOW FOR A FACT that I would have been fined and paid an exorbitant amount on my insurance. This man saved my sanity. When the judge ruled not guilty it took everything in me not to fall apart. I highly recommend using Mr. Wayne Holcomb.
