If I could give a lower score I would. After I signed him on as a lawyer and paid, he said I have no case, I have the email to prove it. He did not submit evidence and after depleting the retainer, he drops me as a client. For those who are saying great experience, hopefully you didn't have Jeffrey Harding. Several lawyers that I met with after have requested to see my invoices and said he should have not depleted the retainer for such minimal work.

I went through a very heart breaking season in my life and due to what was happening I had no choice but to hire a lawyer. In this case, however, it is extremely warranted.
Two years ago I found myself in a predicament of a custody issue in Virginia. As I reside in Florida and am the father, even the notion of a win was sceptical at best. The idea of a dad winning custody of a preteen across state lines would be an uphill battle from the jump.
I was fortunate enough to find my way to Jeff Harding. And though he made no false promises and stated that the outcome would most likely not be in our favor, he took my case due to, I believe, something you don't find much, a strong moral conviction. After hearing the circumstances behind my request for custody, Mr. Harding seemed to take this as a personal investment. I saw in him an attorney that runs against the grain. He held my case to the highest regard. It wasn't just to win for him as a lawyer. He truly felt he needed to make a difference in my son's life. I could tell through out the entirety that he felt that if he lost it wasn't just going to be a loss for him. Moreover that he would be letting down a young man that he could make a difference in his life.
Steadfast, Mr. Harding worked tirelessly to push everything and more before the court. Always making time for questions and guidance as we navigated our way through what seemed to me, a complicated Commonwealth Legal System. He knew exactly when to push in court and when to back off.
I am happy to say that after multiple times in court, we had a win. My son now flourishes here in Florida. Honor roll, AP courses, E-commerce Academy, and multiple academic citations. We not only got the original win we never thought would happen, he was able to achieve even more than we had ever asked of him. I really didn't know it would be remotely possible to accomplish all that Mr. Harding did. However, looking into his smile after we had secured everything and realizing it wasn't for the win. That smile was for what he had done for my son that made him so happy. That was the reminder for me of his impeccable moral character and fortitude.
