I highly endorse Finman Law firm. Sheldon and Julia Finman met with me in a time of crisis. My wife had deserted our marriage after 53 years and left a letter on the kitchen counter saying she was divorcing me. I had no idea that she had this plan in process for nine months prior to leaving, as I trusted her implicitly. I had to retain legal counsel quickly and had no idea where to begin. My trust attorney gave me recommendations, so I called Finman law and was able to get an appointment within a few days. Sheldon and Julia Finman were well experienced in addressing issues that I had to consider immediately, such as state of health, emotional counseling, and the direction for settlement. They first led me to to get emotional counseling and medical care. This was essential before I could navigate the course that was ahead. They described what was going to be demanded by opposing counsel that would be very upsetting to me, and assured me that they would solve those issues.
Julia worked with me on all preparations and was excellent at directing the flow of correspondence in reaching a final settlement. I was especially impressed with her professionalism and insight. I can highly recommend this firm. 5-stars. After multiple settlement offers, mediation, depositions, document dumps and delays, I was ready to throw in the towel. These things have a way of wearing you down over time. However, we decided to fight - all the way through to trial - and I am so glad we did.
