I have known Adam since early in his legal career, when he opened his own law firm and sublet office space from me. Since then, I have observed Adam grow into a talented and powerful attorney. I have an unusual perspective, as we have handled a number of collaborative divorces together, he representing one spouse and I the other. Adam has always been gifted with high intelligence and reasoning skills, but he is also prudent about protecting his clients' rights and wellbeing. At the same time, he is also caring about his clients, who are almost always going through the most stressful time in their lives. He takes nothing more seriously than his role as advocate for his clients. Yet he has a sense of humor that he uses as needed, to help his clients through the tough moments. When I can, I refer my own divorce clients’ spouses to him because I know that I can trust him not only to care for his client, but also about the family we will both be serving. These clients have all been more than satisfied with his services and fees. I enjoy having Adam on my collaborative team; not only does his presence add value and improve the likelihood of our collaborative success, but he is also just a joy to work with. When working in stressful conditions, like negotiating the terms of a divorce, this is a huge bonus. I recommend Adam highly.

I came to Adam looking to relocate to Texas from Florida. I had previously gone through a messy divorce without a lawyer, partly due to financial issues, and knew that this time I needed help. My ex-wife is impossible to deal with and we have a son together. Moving to a different state than my son was a very hard decision, but one I felt I needed to make as I was miserable where I was. My son was the only thing tying me to Florida. As I suspected the fight was long and messy. Adam and his team, Jennifer and Judith, were always incredibly polite and someone was always available when I needed to speak to them. Adam himself always made himself available, if he wasn't directly when I called they would schedule a time, and he never missed a scheduled call. My ex-wife's lawyer was the type of lawyer that makes people hate lawyers. We had to scratch and claw just to get these people to respond to us. Due to my limited funds our options of forcing them legally were limited. Adam went absolutely above and beyond to help me get my case resolved. Without going into detail he very much was understanding of my financial situation and was willing to work with me as much as possible from his end. As much as I appreciate Adam, Jennifer is a superstar. She got the brunt of my frustrations because Adam wasn't always readily available, and she handled it with absolute class. Fighting for your son is a very stressful thing to go through and she understood that and never took my frustrations personally and still continued to help me in every way possible. In the end after long long nights and multiple tough phone calls where I thought we might have to give up, we ended up getting exactly what I had been asking for in the first place. You can't always deal with people thinking properly and in the moment you aren't always thinking properly, but Adam and his team stayed the course with me through an almost 7 month long ordeal. I am happy to say moving to Texas was the best decision I could have made for myself, and very happy to say we secured my son and I continue to be the best father I can be. Adam advertises as a collaborative lawyer and I would bet a large amount of money he's great at it, but man he was not afraid to go through a rough fight with me. I am forever grateful

If I lived in the Greater Tampa Bay area, I would hire Adam to be my divorce lawyer. He is passionate, experienced and expert at putting his client's interests first. He is a nationally recognized trainer in peaceful paths to divorce.

After my ex and I had agreed to move forward in the collaborative path for our divorce, I had interviewed a few lawyers and finally met with Adam. I have to admit that at our first meeting, I was a bit nervous. Adam looks like he could have just graduated from law school versus being an expert in this still relatively unknown process within family law. My largest concern was his ability to deal with my ex's controlling and unbelievably argumentative ways give Adam's very quiet demeanor. He assured me that he had been able to come to mediation with other divorces when the mental health of the other spouse was an issue. What convinced me to hire Adam was his passion and belief in the process of collaborative divorce as a way to protect my interests and still come to a
peaceful conclusion. From the very beginning, Adam explained to me and kept me involved the entire process of how vetting of the members of the "divorce team" would happen. I felt so more confident about the process after meeting and observing how these team members were selected and worked together. I am so happy that I did not follow the litigation style of divorce. Although the entire divorce was difficult, with every collaborative team meeting, I felt empowered and more in control of my life and my own divorce. Adam was a key in prepping me and following up on each divorce team meeting, well as being my personal rock. When our meetings or I became unproductive, he stepped away from the lawyer role and helped "reset" me so I could help myself. If you find yourself in need of a divorce lawyer, I could not recommend Adam enough. Trust in his quiet, observant command of detail. Trust in his long term strategy for how to best protect your interests. Trust in his understanding what a painful situation it is for ALL persons involved, not just his own client. Trust in the process, and trust in his ability to get you the new start in life you want.
