I hired this attorney last May 2017. I have spent several thousand dollars and have never received a bill. Mr. James fails to respond in a timely manner and nothing has happened with my case even though in the beginning the promises made were fabulous. I think this was only to get more money out of me. I am taking the loss and filing a complaint with the Texas Bar Association. If you want even just a 'decent' attorney, do not go here.

Ms. James is an outstanding attorney. He was supportive throughout the whole process. I couldn't have asked for a more dedicated, supportive attorney. I highly recommend his firm and his staff is amazing, as well!

I paid him my money and he went out of town for a week before my hearing and did not work diligently on my case. He would either show up extremely late or reschedule to work on his other cases when my case was going to trial in a few days. We had 54 days to prepare and he waits until a couple of days before. Then he asked me to meet him an hour before the trial and he showed up 5 minutes before.
Then to make matters worse he never contacted my landlord to try and come to a resolution before going through with the trial. My landlord even said at the beginning of the trial that he wanted to just resolve the matter if I had the money owed. I told Mr. James that I had stopped at the bank and I had the money and yet he still wanted to proceed with the trial because he has an ego and he was trying to get the landlord to pay attorney fees he rackec up. He obviously didn't do any additional work because I did the leg work and who was he on the pbone with because obviously not with the landlord because that was evident when the trial started. DO NOT USE HIM BECAUSE HE WILL ONLY TELL YOU WHAT YOU NEED TO HRAR ANF GIVE YOU FALSE PROMISES AND THEN; THEN WHEN YOU WANT TO FOLLOW UP WITH HIM; HE ACCUSES YOU OF CONSTANTLY BARAIDING HIM WITH CALLS. THEN ONCE YOU MEET HIM HE WILL MAKE YOU GEEL LIKE YOU HAVEN'T DONE WHAT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DO WHEN IN FACT YOU HAVE. ITD BEEN HIM NOT DOING HIS PART AND HE WAITS UNYIL THE BETY LAST MINUTE TO HANDLE BUSINESS.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE HIM.
