I was referred to Duggar and Duggar by Gail Lane in Thomasville as I was seeking a divorce from my husband in Tallahassee last year. I first called Duggar and Duggar and spoke with Alison Holland the legal assistant. I wanted to divorce my husband and have a simple no contest divorce. No fighting over who gets what, no nothing just out. What I needed was someone to just do the paper work for us to sign and go our separate ways but Alison was having none of that. She got way to personal being both offensive and aggressive. She went on and on about marital assets and it not being as simple as "I think it is." Condescending and rude not to mention unprofessional!! I told her an attorney in Naples did it that way and she insisted that Leon county law was different. No it's not. Divorce law in Florida is divorce law in Florida. Alison just wanted me to have a long drawn out battle to make herself and her employers more money. I went with the attorney in Naples and was divorced in 2 months and it only cost $600. Alison and her attitude are what lost her company my business as a client not to mention my respect. She should learn to be more professional, less condescending and certainly less aggressive. The customer is always right Alison Holland! If Duggar and Duggar aren't interested the in simple drawing up of paper work to end a failed marriage plenty of other lawyers are.
