Vik Monder is a crook. They are trying to charge me $8500 for consultation and no service. Don’t lose your money to these people.

In any legal situation to begin with, you need a lawyer who is expert in the area you're seeking help and prompt in addressing your concerns/anxiety. That will at least reduce some stress out of the whole situation. In a PC 243 e(1) (Domestic Violence, misdemeanor) case, we have hired a different lawyer in the beginning. While I'm not concerned about the legal skill-set, the standout issue was how the service was delivered. We would have to follow up several times before we get an update. It was like a terrible post-sale customer service. Moreover, we would give him cues on what's the possible next steps instead the lawyer helping us in that direction.

With stress levels escalating, we have finally started to figure another lawyer and found Vik after interviewing few others. First, we got a face time with Vik. After weeks of stressful follow-ups with other lawyer, this one meeting changed it all. Vik was honest. All other lawyers had a common phrase that they will try but no guarantee on getting the charges dropped. That's where the conversation would end. Vik started the conversation on a similar note, but the clear differentiator was the extended discussion with data. If you ever find yourself in criminal court please look no other than Vik Monder. My case is DUI specific which is only one area that Vik specializes in. We called Vik the day after my incident and he immediately took our call and set up a meeting to look over my case. Vik is straight up and honest. He will not lead you on, he will not give you any false promises. Rather he will inform you of what his goal is and how he plans to fight for you. He only gives you the facts about your specific case. His presence in court is amazing to watch. He owns the court. He is aggressive but also professional and cordial at the same time. I was looking at a felony DUI and it was my first time ever being in trouble with the law. When hiring Vik you're a team and you have to work together. I did everything he recommended outside of the court room to help him be prepared for court and he did everything he could for me inside the court room. If you are looking for the best San Diego criminal attorney then hire Vik Monder. He is definitely not the cheapest lawyer but you get what you pay for. I know I was hesitant to pay him at first but after I heard how passionate he was able working as a defense attorney I had no reservation hiring him to handle my case. He charged me $5000 for a felony case and it was actually cheaper than what other lawyers were charging but not bottom of the barrel cheap.
