My parents just finished a Family Trust. One of those cookie cutter ones you pay $795 for. I was concerned only 2 of the 8 properties were referenced. And being the executor the the Trust I wanted to know if they would go in to probate along with the money in her bank accounts. Jamie was kind enough to answer my questions. Jamie made the process of a trust/will seamless for our growing family.

We work long/busy hours and he came to our home at the drop of a hat to complete our trust and completed all the paperwork within a few days. He then came back to our home late one night (maybe even on a weekend!) for witness signatures and the whole process was effortless on our part as far as the legal documentation.

Despite the grueling process after Jamie's part was complete, (i.e. changing all our accounts/beneficiaries, etc) he again made it as easy as possible by highlighting and prioritizing what we needed to complete on our end.

He helped me with a Revocable Living Trust and it was exactly the way I wanted it to be. I've only had one experience with Jamie, but it was awesome enough for me to write a review. My father recently passed, I didn't know the next step to take (he's a complicated case), so I did a google search and called the person with the most stars. Even though my situation didn't warrant working with Jamie, (yet) he treated me like a client and took the time to show me where to download the correct documents, gave me advice about how to contact the bank, and explained the whole probate process. Following a search on-line, telephone interviews, and discussion with friends, we enlisted Jamie Kahn to assist us with updating our estate plan, which had been created in a different state and had not been changed for more than ten years. At the outset, we thought that we wanted to create a revocable trust. He analyzed our situation and basically told us that we probably did not need one at this point. I.e., he did not attempt to sell us something more expensive than we needed. However, we decided that, due to some foreseen future conditions, we preferred to have one created now anyway.
The process of updating our wills, powers-of-attorney, living wills (or health directives), and creating a trust were made simple by Jamie. He spent much time explaining many of the terms and reasons for certain documents.
