We used this firm to do estate planning. Our initial meeting was well organized, simple, and concise. We answered a number of questions from Mr. Millhorn, and were given a quote on the cost of services. A few weeks later, the documents were prepared and an appointment was made to review and sign the documents. This meeting went quickly, and Mr. Millhorn explained each and every page of the process. A witness, and a notary were present as documents were signed. We paid with a check and all documents were presented in a nice folder. We were given exit instructions and felt very confident with the process. Lastly, we requested electronic copies of each document and they were delivered in a day. I had a very good experience with this firm from the beginning and throughout the entire process. From the start when I was provided with an outline of the steps necessary to complete probate for my late Mother's estate right through the end when an exemplified copy was produced by the FL Probate court. Not only did the representative have extensive Probate court experience in the state of Florida but coincidentally also had probate court experience in the state of NY which was also a mandatory part of closing my Mother's estate. The estimate provided to me in the beginning was met and I was also give legal advice that I accepted regarding additional protection. After my grandmother passed I had the unfortunate need to reach out to this law firm to see what additional steps may need to be taken for her trust. I have never felt so disrespected and talked down to for reasons that were out of my control - there is no reason to be rude to anyone that has just lost a family member. If you want your loved ones to have a pleasant experience after your passing, go elsewhere.

In my opinion Michael Millhorn has become SENILE! After years of using Millhorn Law Firm for our family trust, today will be the last!!! We arrived for a scheduled meeting and within a minute he was yelling at us for no apparent reason, he immediately interrupted me and became extremely aggressive, to the point he made my mother start shaking in fear. Then he started accusing me of crimes. When I said we were DONE and Leaving he continued berating us with insults. Telling me I thought I was "Smarter than everybody else in The World" My mother was so upset she began crying in the car on the way home. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS MAN HES IS NOT STABLE!!!

i met with sham shanawany from the millhorn law firm to help my sick elderly aunt with her will ... he came over to her house which was nice b/c she couldn't drive ... he spoke in basic english and not lawyer english which my aunt really needed ... and his prices were very very reasonable. he even gave us his cell phone which made it easy to get a hold of him. although i personally dont live in florida ... i recommend him as lawyer for wills

My mom used this firm to create a trust. She needed to have one paragraph changed due to a change in her life. She paid them $240 to make the change and they have not done it after 3 months. I think this firm takes advantage of older people because they can. Their reviews on Yelp are similar to this one. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU WANT TO HAVE AN EASY AND LEGITIMATE EXPERIENCE.

I am writing this on behalf of my retired mother who lives in the Villages. My mother retained Eric MIllhorn at the Millhorn Law firm in the Villages to draft her Living Trust. The Trust was not drafted properly and cost more that Millhorn had originally quoted. My mother then needed some urgent advise on the Trust and requested a meeting with Eric in late August 2013 and was told that Eric was not available to see her until November 2013. She was then directed to see a junior attorney Hisham “Sham” Shanawany. She went to the offices to meet Sham. He was 30 minutes late and then was rude and dismissive and told her to "go away" and that he would not provide any assistance.

There are many other attorneys in the Villages and central Florida. I strongly encourage you to "go away" from Millhorn Law Firm and use a Firm that cares and is responsive to their clients.
